WHERE'S MY CARD
The CAST
CARLY BARNES
Meryn Turner
The MOther
Carly Barnes stars as the main protagonist, Beth Dawson, who has a new found writer's career. However she suffers from writer's block when her daughter leaves for University. In this screenshot, Beth only has pugs and polaroids to help her get back into writing again.
THE DAUGTHER
Meryn Turner stars as Beths's daughter, Eleanor (Ellie) Dawson, of 19 years. Ellie has had a gap year and will finally be leaving the nest. She doesn't quite understand how her mother will feel during this transition. Within this film shot she's clearly pondering life's next stage for herself.
THE OBNOXIOUS BOOK CLUB LADY
Susannah Light plays the part of a lady who runs a book club in her home. As Beth wants to try new hobbies and make friends, this lady makes it very hard for her to do so by being a little obnoxious. It seems the book club is a small group for a reason. Writer & Director Olivia K. Leng seemed to enjoy the book club as she makes an appearance as an extra.
The art Teacher
Nala Hermeziel plays the small but powerful role of the Art Teacher. She has a way with words in which she tries to enlighten Beth but falls short. Until she gives Beth the chance to think about what she really wants to use her creativity towards and that's her daughter.
